A PRODUCT WITH A LARGER PURPOSE
SnuffRing Is Designed to Do More
The founders intend for SnuffRing’s future success to help other veterans and their families move promising inventions forward.
The connection to VetVention
VetVention is building a disciplined pathway to help veteran inventors and their families move promising inventions toward intellectual-property protection, development, and commercialization. VetVention IP Creations is established in California, and its founding team is finalizing its nonprofit structure, governance, professional network, and initial programs. VetVention does not currently represent that it has received federal recognition as a tax-exempt organization under Internal Revenue Code section 501(c)(3).
Greg and Gayla have committed that 50% of SnuffRing, Inc.’s net profits will be donated to VetVention to support that mission. This commitment concerns future net profits; it does not represent that SnuffRing will earn profits or that donations of any particular amount are guaranteed.
Why the mission matters
Inventing is difficult. Turning an invention into a real product can be harder still. Patent protection is only one part of the process. Inventors may also need engineering, prototypes, testing, business formation, manufacturing, financing, distribution, and experienced guidance.
Veterans and their families may have valuable ideas but lack access to some of the legal, technical, financial, or commercial resources needed to continue.
One invention helping the next inventor
SnuffRing is intended to become both a commercial product and a transparent demonstration project. Its invention diary will show selected parts of the path from observation and prototype through patent filing, engineering, manufacturing, financing, and launch.
If the product succeeds, fulfilling that commitment can help another inventor begin. If the project encounters setbacks, documenting those lessons may still help others make better decisions.
Build something useful. Build it responsibly. Use its success to help the next inventor.
